About Us
Neyland’s Dino Bakery was started in August, 2020 by a 6-year
old little boy who wanted to start a business and wanted to give back
to our community by way of baked goods. Two things that largely
influenced him were public service and entrepreneurship. His “Big
Papa” was a Firefighter/Paramedic for 15 years. His Dad has been a
Law Enforcement Officer for almost 14 years. His Mother has been
an AEMT for 8 years. He has also watched his Mom, Grandparents,
Aunt and Uncle start businesses, so he has also had a healthy dose of
entrepreneurship. During the end of August and beginning of
September Neyland had “business meetings” where we decided on
his logo, packaging, baked goods, etc. We started donating in
September of 2020
Neyland has had multiple health issues, starting from infancy
and he still deals with multiple issues to this day. He has undergone
multiple surgeries, lots of testing and procedures and weekly
injections. His medical conditions put him in the high risk category
for complications from Covid-19. His life has been greatly impacted
since March of 2020, which makes it even more incredible that he
wants to give back to our First Responders, hospital workers and
military.
He has currently baked, packaged and donated over 1,000 bags
of his cookies to AMR, KCSO, KPD, THP, UTPD, KFD, RM Fire,
Karns VFD, Seymour VFD, UTMC, Fort Sanders, Tennova North,
Tennova Turkey Creek, Parkwest, LCSO and Children’s Hospital! Up
next is a donation scheduled for April, 2021 for Marines and are
looking to get Army and Air Force on the schedule as well.
